Francis Assisi School, Thunkubari, Chirang District, Assam, is a recognised unaided Christian minority institution established with a vision to provide holistic, value-centred education to children of Chirang and the surrounding Bodoland Territorial Region. The school is affiliated to the Secondary Education Board of Assam (SEBA) and prepares its students for the HSLC Examination at Class X level.
The school is managed under the spiritual and administrative guidance of the Franciscan Friars and Sisters, who draw their inspiration from the life, simplicity, and compassionate service of Saint Francis of Assisi. The Franciscan spirit — rooted in humility, reverence for creation, joy in service, and love for every human being — forms the very soul of this institution.
